1. INTRODUCTION
ToolCalibra is an offline instrument calibration record-keeping application provided by GHOSIA FOODS LTD ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information entered and stored by its users.
2. INFORMATION YOU ENTER AND STORE
You may enter instrument names, asset identifiers, instrument categories, locations, units, calibration intervals and due dates. You may also create calibration records containing reference readings, measured readings, allowed tolerances, calculated deviations, pass/fail results and record dates. These entries are saved in the app's local database on your device.
The content of your entries is controlled by you. Please avoid entering unnecessary personal or confidential information in instrument names, locations or other fields.
3. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
ToolCalibra uses local records to organize instruments, display calibration schedules and due-date summaries, calculate measurement deviations, evaluate entered tolerances, and display or export calibration history. Calculation results depend on values provided by the user. ToolCalibra does not independently measure or certify an instrument.
4. DATA COLLECTION, TRANSMISSION AND SHARING
The reviewed version of ToolCalibra does not request internet permission, require account registration, or include an advertising or analytics SDK. The app does not automatically transmit your instrument records to GHOSIA FOODS LTD or an app-operated server. We do not receive copies of records solely because you use the app.
The app can export PDF reports and JSON backup files to a location you select through Android's system document picker. If you choose a cloud storage provider or share an exported file using another service, that third party may process the file under its own privacy terms. Those user-directed external transfers are not automatic app uploads.
5. STORAGE, RETENTION AND DELETION
Records are held in Android app-specific storage on your device and generally remain there until you delete records within the app, clear app data, or uninstall the application. Some records may be linked to instruments and may need to be handled together to preserve record consistency. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app generally deletes locally stored information, subject to the behavior of your Android device and any copies you exported separately.
Exported PDF reports or JSON backup files are stored wherever you selected and are not deleted automatically when you remove ToolCalibra. You must delete those copies from their storage locations yourself. Restoring a JSON backup can replace the app's currently stored records after confirmation.
6. SECURITY
The application uses Android's app-specific storage protections. Automatic Android backup of the app's data is disabled in the reviewed build. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against device compromise, loss, or unauthorized access. You should secure your device and protect any exported reports or backups, particularly if they contain sensitive workplace details.
7. PERMISSIONS AND DEVICE ACCESS
The reviewed application does not request internet, location, contacts, camera, or broad storage permissions. PDF export and JSON backup/restore use Android's document picker to access a document or destination that you choose. Android system components and external document providers may have their own data-handling practices.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
ToolCalibra is intended as a general professional utility, not an app designed specifically for children. It does not provide account registration or targeted advertising.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy if ToolCalibra's features, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The updated policy will display a revised effective date.
